The Phases of the Application Process

Phase 1 "Trial Period"After one’s application has been submitted and approved, this marks the beginning of the probationary trial period. During this time, an applicant will be acting in the capacity of a Horsemen by attending trainings, meetings, and events. All patched members will be critical of applicants during this phase, and the applicant must consider what it means to be a part of the Horsemen.Phase 2 "Live The Role"At this point, if both the applicant has decided to continue down this path, and the patched members of the Horsemen have agreed they are acting in line with the Horsemen, they enter phase two. At this point applicants are not just encouraged, but expected to attend trainings, meetings, and events at the same requirement rates of patched members. The applicant must actively be:
- Trying to obtain the minimum loadout
- Communicating with members and command staff on customary message boards (i.e. Discord)
- Provide a positive outlook, maintain and protect the Horsemen name and reputation
Phase 3 "The Crossroads"Phase three and phase two are nearly identical. At this point, applicants making it this far have shown the patched members of the Horsemen that they are worthy of becoming a member save for a few missing requirements. Horsemen members will be telling applicants which attributes they need to work on. Upon satisfying the minimum loadout, and upon internal team debate, the applicant will be asked to join the Horsemen. Alternatively, if the team has decided the applicant has not shown the proper dedication to Horsemen ideals and requirements, they will be asked to leave.Things to remember
- Read the creed.
- You are being scrutinized by every acting member of The Horsemen, so act accordingly.
- Ask active members about ways to acquire the minimum loadout.
- Make every effort to attend as many events, as they come up, as possible.

The Horsemen Creed

I volunteer as a Horsemen, recognizing the hazards of my chosen sport and always endeavoring to uphold the prestige, honor and high esprit de corps that is The Horsemen
I recognize the fact that Horsemen are a more elite airsoft operator.
I accept the fact that as a member of the Horsemen, the airsoft community expects me to move further, faster, and to fight harder than any other.
I will always keep myself mentally alert, physically strong and morally straight. I will always shoulder more than my share of the task, whatever it may be, one hundred percent and then some.
I will gallantly show the world that I am a specially selected and well-trained airsoft operator. My courtesy to superiors, neatness of dress, and care of my equipment will set the example for others to follow.
I will energetically meet the enemies of my team. I shall defeat them on the field of battle for I am better trained and I fight with valor on honor. Surrender is not a Horsemen word. I will never leave my comrades when they are engaged with the enemy. I will never embarrass or bring disrespect to my team on or off the field.
I will readily display the intestinal fortitude required to fight toward the Horsemen objective and complete the mission though I be the lone survivor.
I am “The Horsemen”

Gear Acquisition Options

We understand that the extensive list of required kit can be daunting, but Horsemen members are more than willing to help applicants acquire kit through retailer recommendation and personal trade/buy/sell. Do not let high gear prices dissuade you!! Starting kit does not need to break the bank; many Horsemen started with bargain brand equipment. It is expected, however, of Horsmen applicants and members to constantly upkeep their gear to be in good, working condition, and to be able to meet all requirements of the Horsemen loadout and operation-specific loadout requirements (some events require specific loadouts).
